Having trouble with the update- download not automatic. should I delete & reinstall the app to receive the new version?

I'm getting an Error Code: 503, An error occurred while attempting to login, while trying to sync game data

Seems to be affecting US players (NYC here) and the delete-login hotfix I suggested isnt working. What gives?

What I had to do to get mine working Tues was 1- delete & reinstall app 2- login as usual (Google) <- this is may require multiple attempts 3- ensure wifi connection to get supplementary downloads Usually that was all. Shouldn’t be but it is what it is. Game started functioning for me again...

All day yesterday (Nov 27) I could not log in. Google sign-on. Delete & reinstall failed to resolve the issue. Since updating to iOS 11, the constant crashes stopped but this is getting ridiculous.

I was following with the "login" (even though the game would crash 20 times a day it never fully logged me out) by killing & restarting the app, got into Oct 10 and this morning it would not sync me into the Oct 11 login for the prize- kind of lame

I've noticed more frequent crashes myself- usually on character selection. iPhone 6+ running iOS 10.3.3

No new Eliza on restart.

Currently using an iPhome 6+, OS 10.3.3 Purchased Eliza's relic, upon an attempt to open it, experienced a crash, did not receive the theonite back, & lost the relic. Aside from the intermittent crashes, the game is heaps of fun.
