Don't waste your coins on anything other than improving your characters or moves. I have an enormous surplus of ability points, keys, extra fighters and moves to the point that I have to spend theo on coins to keep up with my growing roster.

Thank you so much! I'm going to echo this sentiment; right now it feels like there is no upside in attempting a node with weaker characters so I should just abandon Rift battles and go level up until I have a bigger roster.

How isn't it grinding the insane amount of money and ability points a diamond is sure to require not putting in a lot of effort into the game? I got my first gold quite early (Untouchable) but she was pretty damn useless a) by herself and b) because I couldn't afford upgrading her skill tree...
