Considering how high you're streak is, it's very likely because the health% and attack% modifiers gave them a higher fs to show that. It would be really misleading if she had an 8k fs with the 500% modifiers on her. So that is possible :)

It could also be that they knew they wouldn't be able to progress any further so instead of wasting energy on high level fighters, they threw with low levels so they could reset and start again. But that's still up in the air.

Most likely because the MA specifies that you can't get hit at all for 10 seconds to gain the buff, including blocked hits. You were hit frequently while blocking which resets the 10s countdown.
