    I forgot to mention this, but all AI fighters have no move stats from what I've tested so far (so they have no defense as a result). Since training dummies have a ton of HP and they don't fight back they're the best to test on. I'll add that part to the main post. Thanks for your help!

    My idea was to change his resistance boost to something like TTyrant where he gets buffs instead of just resisting debuffs. Maybe he can get armor and blessing. Or some other set of buffs. I like the "Bonus for beating dupe defenders" idea a lot! It would work in line with how it used to work...

    Also, look carefully at move stats. The difference move stats make give a massive advantage early game and are pretty much mandatory to get into D4 and above. As far as specific moves, immunity taunts and buff clearing moves are your friends.
