the startups for CounterVenom do seem different to me. i haven’t tested chaining them, so i can’t really say anything there but i do agree the startup feels different. can’t put my finger on how though.

i noticed Nancy’s umbrella swipe in too! i was wondering if maybe Todd killed Franz right after he took the shot, but it’s really hard to tell. i guess we still don’t really know what happened to him/where he is current day

i think that info would fit more for Umbrella’s origin story (if she ever becomes playable!). also some of that stuff was talked about in the original Skullgirls game in Parasoul’s story so maybe they just didn’t see a need to repeat things

personally i’m a bit confused on how King Franz’s umbrella basically defeated Queen Nancy in one shot (if i’m interpreting that correctly). i know he said earlier in the story that the umbrella he has would be used in dire circumstances, but what’s so special about his umbrella? what makes it so...

i think in the Canopolis chapter Parasoul was trying to explain what happened to Umbrella in a way that didn’t make it seem tragic or really sad, so thats why the dialogue seems a bit strange/a bit off. at least that’s what i think (and what i think you were asking about?)

taken from the 2.5 update notes. when i read this i thought of this exact bug (which i also reported awhile back) because of the combined armor from Squigly’s SA and the Elemental PF’s modifer, but i may be wrong. i do hope this is the type of bug they were talking about though

don’t worry, this bug has been reported many many times before. hopefully we’ll get a fix for it sooner than later.

i frankly liked when the game icon was Marie. oh, those good old LINE Skullgirls days. i miss ‘em.

they’ve had numerous reports of this bug already and have said that they’ll be working on it, now that they have received more input based on the bug and what causes it to happen.

i do too, but it'll probably take some time to implement her due to her head mechanics and everything else that the other characters had to go through. especially since they've been focusing on Parasoul's origin it's more likely she'll be out next year.

as far as i'm aware the prize fight rewards have been the same for as long as the game's been around. i'm curious where those people in the chat got the information from, but i guarantee they confused it with something else.
