Wish I knew the exact answer, but I can't remember what discussion it was, but they pointed out that Primer Relics are actually more proned to pull out a gold fighter. I'd suggest that you should only get the exclusive variant if you REALLY want to get the exclusive variant. Hope this helped! (:
