Add to this that the Valentine Birthday Blowout offer is scaling badly and won't let you press ' X ' to leave the offer. The only way to remove the offer was to quit the game and then be forced to download the update again (over 4G this time taking another few minutes).

Yep, I have been using this technique on my Beo's for a long time and it is a solid and reliable strategy - in most situations. It's very useful with CS as a safe way to trigger stun.
