Fights Auto mode

There needs to be a way to fully engage or disengage the Auto fight mode that just activates whenever it wants with 0 regard for my commands at the time... ie: it will auto grab on rapid repeat while im holding for block at the time; or it'll auto strike while im trying to dash... I wish there was a thing in the settings somewhere that was something like "Auto Fight" with two buttons... the first button is ON and the second is OFF. And it be an absolute shut off until the player changes it on their own. I understand if thats too much to ask, but that in my opinion is the only minor negative in an otherwise almost perfect game.

There is a button to turn Auto mode off, it's in the battle between your moves and opponent's moves

I'm pretty sure you can just fully shut it off, go to settings, gameplay, and disable show auto battle.
