Been back of a ~5 year break, wanted some help and guidance to the new stuff

I stopped playing shortly after they released fukua back in 2020, I'm trying to read about all the new stuff but I wanted to hear some stuff from you guys too. Like, what is currently the best option to spend theonite on? What are the best stats to have on blockbusters and specials nowadays? Some tips on how do guest stars best work, how to get the best value on upgrading/farming them. Is prestigy really worth it? Any real changes do PF? How many points do you need to do to get in the top 10% (most were 20M back in the day)... What are currently the best variants?

And any other tips you guys have as well! It's good to be back!

BTW I'm lvl 70 and have a pretty strong account even though I haven't played for about 5 years lol. So if you could put that into consideration when giving advice about where to spend stuff and focus on, it would be better!

I am sure other user will give you a detailed answer, so i will go for something short.

I think you don't know anything about annie, black dahlia and umbrella.
In versus they are power houses, of the most easy characters to land combos that deals 100% damage.

Umbrella has the best variant in game (at least top 3)
annie is pretty solid.
Dahlia used to be the most hated defense thanks to her marque that grants heal and haste per each crit hit, plus her strong defensive variants.
But dahlia got nerfed recently, so that don't matter anymore.

big band got rework, so him is solid now, you should look a video for that.
Check the new variants Signatures.

Ah, now marie is playable, one of the best characters in general.

You should save teonite for the next updates tho, i am sure they will add new ways to spend teonite.
And the devs have a debt of 1.2 millon of dollars.

Heavy hand has not been buffed yet.

Theo is imo still best spent on the following 3:

1st - Occasionally, you'll get an Essence deal. For each element you'll have a pack of 3 essences at the cost of 2k Theo. You can buy each pack only once, but you can also buy each pack for each element. In case, I didn't phrase it well: you can buy the pack for 3 fire essences only once, and you can then also buy the Light, Dark, Water, etc... packs as well.

2nd - Winter 5k Hyper deal: 10+1 relic for each character.

3rd - Character birthday deals. If you really want a specific character, their relics are at half the price on their birthday. So 10+1 relics instead of costing 2k theo, will cost only 1k. You can find each character's birthday in the Wiki.

- In other news, Rifts got reworked and are much faster to do. But imo are still pretty @ss, and I personally don't dabble with them.

- Parallel Realms also got added, which is another way of getting gold, XP treats, gold and dia shards and the chance of getting a Diamond key at Nightmare and No Mercy difficulty. It's a roguelite mode, where you can recruit fighters to complete the realm with, and also obtain various bonuses along the way. Your fighter's HP however carries over from fight to fight, and if they die, can't be used (unless revived, but there are some additional rules for that in the harder difficulties)

- Level Cap is planned to be increased in the upcoming patches, so 5k Hyper Pack deals (10+1 relic for each character) are likely to be on the horizon
