Other Holodeck mayhem

Have the devs just forgotten about holodeck mayhem or do they just think the 2.5 bonus is enough? I don't even see much of a difference until the very last node where I'd get 400k xp but all the other give 100k at BEST, sometimes the first node doesn't even give more than 100k xp. (Not sure if those are times where I forgot to use the 2x boost) but I think they rewards should be increased because of how painfully long it takes to get a diamond to level 60. Nothing is wrong with a little grinding but I believe this is pushing it.
