I'M CONFUSED

I don't understand dark horses' second signature ability... How does team mates deal extra damage when dark horse is benefiting from haste in the bench!

Unless If she's the active fighter and gains haste, does the haste still work when she's in the bench?

Since the Haste she gains is permanent she won't lose it when she tagging out. So her dark teammates can utilize her damage boost.
