Bug - Normal Marie: Gravedigger Precision + Carpal Pummel bug

Carpal Pummel is unblockable If the enemy is suffering from quietus, however, an unblockable precision hit counts as a regular critical hit. Im assuming that is not how it should work. Heres a clip showing that interaction when fighting Shadow Puppet, i have also experienced it when fighting Death Wish before, but didnt record it.

An unblockable Precision hit should still crit and use the Precision. Looking at your video, that's what appears to happen.

Is there something more specific that I'm missing here?

It is a garanteed crit, yes, but it doesnt bypass the opponents abillity. In the video, shadow puppet still triggers her second abillity despite being hit with precision.
