Hey everyone! We hope you enjoyed all of the excitement of Evo 2024!

As part of the weekend's fisticuffs and festivities, we released a teaser trailer for Skullgirls Mobile, featuring new footage of our two incoming Guest Stars in action, while raising the curtain on a third character getting set to make their in-ring debut. Grab your rivets and prep your digits, because it is none other than Canopy Kingdom's marvelous mechanic, Roxie!

Roxie will be stepping away from the royal garage, where she diligently maintains the machinery of The Black Egrets, in order to assist your favorite characters in the heat of battle. Roxie has already won the hearts of many Skullgirls fans thanks to her cool, easy-going personality and her tough, industrious look - itself inspired by the World War II icon Rosie the Riveter. While Roxie has been mostly confined to the sidelines - ensuring that Panzerfaust's tanks (and Molly's own 'Graham-o-Tron') remain battle ready - Skullgirls Mobile's new Guest Star feature will see her to step into the ring, helping you wreak heavy metal mayhem on your hapless opponents!

In addition to Roxie's reveal, the new trailer features some work-in-progress footage of our two previously-revealed guest stars: Minette and Brain Drain. The always cheery Minette charges into the fray armed with an array of delicacies from her Little Innsmouth restaurant, while the sinister Brain Drain prefers violence by science, utilizing technology cooked up in the ASG laboratories. Dastardly stuff.

Guest Stars are coming soon to Skullgirls Mobile, bringing a thrilling new dynamic to team building and team battling! Be sure to stay tuned to Skullgirls social media, (as well as the Skullgirls Mobile Forums, of course), for further exciting details!

And, as always, thank you all for your continued support of Skullgirls!

It makes quite a bit of, sense, you guys went with Roxie! While the other egrets are fun we have their perspective pretty, lock and key, laced with Parasoul. Not to mention, visually similar across the, board. Roxie, is fun as not just a visual motif reference to a classic piece of art, but it lets us gleam into the more, average, working class members of the, Skullgirls, universe! (Granted a very, exceptional, one considering her dating a high ranking egret, but still!)

That's part of why we've stuck, with, Skullgirls for so very long! Please, continue to, keep making great characters from all different walks of life! - Olive

Back before Eliza and Beowulf were voted in, all the possible DLC Characters had brief outlines of how they might play: https://www.labzerogames.com/3rdcharacter/

This is Roxie's description:

ROXIE

Originally a worker who assembled tanks and other vehicles during the Grand War, the Black Egrets' chief engineer always seems to have the right set of tools and parts on hand. A gearhead with a keen eye for machinery, she prefers to learn through the hands-on approach. Roxie loves to take apart and reassemble machines, striving to add custom improvements to their design. She is fascinated by the advanced technology created in the ASG labs, including Panzerfaust's arm.

Playstyle Speculation
A heavy rushdown character with an emphasis on priority rather than agility. Her weapons are improvised tools such as hammers and rivet guns as well as various machine parts she had around. She could also have the rest of her crew help, swinging in engines suspended from chains like wrecking balls or collectively assaulting the enemy in a montage. She will probably have the ability to construct some sort of gun turrets or other support items over the course of a match, use oil and rolling tires to trip the enemy, spray paint to cause status effects, propellers that hit like blades, etc.

Gameplay Inspiration
Sabertooth (X-men vs Street Fighter), Isaac (Dead Space), Rosie the Riveter (America), Felicia (Darkstalkers / Marvel vs. Capcom 2), Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat II), Engineer (Team Fortress 2), Jenette Vasquez (Aliens), Jin (Marvel vs. Capcom 2)
