Resistance Clarification

Does anyone know if the Marquee ‘Frontman’ can potentially take Big Band’s resistance past 50%, up to 80%, or does it cap at 50%?

Also for Private Dick, is his SA2 a separate check from his resistance, meaning he gets two chances to avoid the debuff, or does resistance add to SA2, potentially taking it to 100%, or is resistance redundant and should not be used for this variant?

1. it doesn't.
2. He had his ability changed, but going off on how (standout and) just kitten work, he first has a chance to convert it to enrage and if that fails, a 50% chance to resist the debuff if 50% resistance is built and the other fighter has no accuracy.
