Just some thoughts on RIFT, not sure if this is the right section but it should just be a general discussion.
I had 3 battles to do after I had my rating knocked down by 8 people while I slept. The last battle was easy, and it was nearly done but the time had ended.
I then got an inbox telling me that I had not only failed to finish the match, that I lost -34 Points. Which I feel is unfair, it should extend the time by at least 10 minutes to let you finish, or rather don't punish you as a loss because time ended.
I know there are plenty of ways to abuse this, but abusing this method would only let people who can't win hold on till the season ends to avoid a loss. That's a small tradeoff for giving a player a loss because it ended mid battle.
What are your thoughts?
