FIGHT MODIFIERS
SLAY BELLS
[Fire Element Fighters]
Gain ENRAGE after every 3 seconds not suffering a hit (includes blocked hits). Each ENRAGE is removed after the next landed HIT.

SILENT NIGHT
[Dark Element Fighters]
When suffering a CRITICAL HIT, DISABLE the opponent's BLOCKBUSTERS for 10 seconds.

MR. GRINCH
[Air Element Fighters]
Using a BLOCKBUSTER will convert all opponent BUFFS into random DEBUFFS.

O HOLY NIGHT
[Light Element Fighters]
RESURRECT with 25% HEALTH and FINAL STAND for 15 seconds after being dead fro 30 seconds.

LET IT SNOW
[Water Element Fighters]
Gain ARMOR for 5 seconds when suffering a HIT that deals less than 1% MAX HEALTH.

Someone on a high streak, please provide intel if those flux numbers change the further you climb (for instance, suppose Silent Night disables blockbusters for 20 seconds if you are on a 40 streak).

How are your Season's Beatings going? Open any relics yet? How's your luck? Notice any OP team combinations to be afraid of (and then copy for your own defense)? How high on the milestone journey are you aiming?
 
I'm in sequence 32 ... and the modifiers are still the same .... as for the relic I opened 1, and bad luck is persistent ... I got a Bloody Valentine Eliza.:mad:

Streak: 35. No modifiers change besides common ATK% and HP% boosts. 3 Ornamentals -> 3 Nyanotechs. However, the enormous amount of coins and Theo already brought my Theo to 5K+, so I'll have my 10+1 bundle in the end of event (fingers crossed that would not be another Brain Freeze, but with my luck...).

Up till now the only troublesome setups I've encountered included Light time-stall fighters (Last Hope, Necro). My intention of getting high Longshot bonus almost broke my streak due to timeout once because of resurrects.
 
I'm generally liking this PF. The modifiers are hard, fun and not frustrating (I'm looking at you, Robo-Fortune PF).

But I have ONE thing I need to complain to someone. The total theo you earn if you complete the milestones isn't a round number. It's kind of stupid, but it's driving me crazy XD

Not an issue with the rift coins, as you can generally get them in different quantities. But that's not the case for Theo. So there's that.

In regard to annoying teams. I faced a maxed out SK and didn't realized to take a heavy hitter/air fighter. So that was basically undoable.

Light element fighters are mostly the hardest to go against in this event, especially Last Hope and Killjoy, other than that this event is really fun to do.


Also got Mean One from the first ornament relic milestone yesterday.

If you've been saving theonite for last few months like me, the 10+1 deal for the Ornamental Relic is the only way. All of them have been silver save that precious +1 bonus odds. 5k is pricey, but worth it to get a two in three chance of getting a strong, holiday-related fighter. Got a Mean One Peacock and enough gold shards (from all the silvers) to fill up a gold relic.

Also shout out to the people replying to the PF kickoff tweet (https://twitter.com/sgmobile/status/1209285362209587200) with day-one-I-already-got-100-million hard flexes. Ya'll crazy. :eek:

Ranking the fight modifiers in effectiveness:
  1. MR. GRINCH - Air elementals rule this PF. Turning buffs into debuffs is very powerful. Especially against water fighters trying to hide under shells of armor. A five stack becomes five debuffs!
  2. SILENT NIGHT - A little dangerous and inconvenient for attackers. On high streaks, disabling blockbusters can draw out fights and increase the chance of BB3.
  3. LET IT SNOW - Situational at best. Got to be either green or strong or this will cause problems. Weaklings will only bring more armor, creating a hopeless despair like punching a brick wall.
  4. O HOLY NIGHT - Certain teams of all light elementals may be good for stalling, but this modifier is only a minor inconvenience. At worst you just quickly KO the enemy again.
  5. SLAY BELLS - Poor fire elementals! For attacker or defender, this modifier is barely a help to any side. This one needs a rework.

I agree with you, the fire element was irrelevant ... it was like a neutral character ... having 5 piles of enrage, you have to stay 15 seconds without giving or receiving a hit, which is not worth it ... many Fire characters have their SA more efficient than that ...

I agree with Air fighters being drastically more efficient than any others on attacking side. Dark is annoying on defence for some Fighters like Squigly or Diva who rely on their BBs to keep opponent's meter at bay.

However, I would give the Light modifier third place because of its versatility. Not only it can be pretty annoying if you have to fight Last Hope and Kill Joy that keep coming back to life, it can also be your chance to win a battle if you made a mistake. In one of the fights I stupidly lost my 20K Epic Sax frontliner and was left with two silver Doubles that I was leveling. However, I managed to stay alive for 30 seconds (thanks to wonderful Double grabs) that were needed to bring Ben back and believe me, his revenge was furious!

@Disasterrr19 since the ornament relics contain less character I think it's more likely to get mean one from there. Otherwise if she is added to the normal relic pool later it will probably take more relics to get her from premier or gold relics cause there are a lot more characters. In the end it's up to you if u are willing to spend the 5k theo.
 
I would go with cat/moves. You already did pretty well. Also, the diamonds for this relics aren't the best (altough I really like Plot Twisted), so that isn't an incentive, either. But you do you.
 
At least in my opinion, 8 days is just too much. I imagine the idea was to give everyone the opportunity to get all the milestones, but it made it endless for those who did mid way.

The modifiers were the most entertaining ones I saw in a PF since I started playing and made for some interesting fights. Fire fighters are a little (a lot) left behind, but all the rest are fun.

Now that the event is over, what did y'all think of it? Any feedback we should consider for future events?

the only thing i would change is the fire element modifier ... i found it very weak compared to the others ... the rest was very good ... the 100m goal was excellent ... the time of over a week of event it was good too ... because no one had to give up being with family to play ...LOL
 
The 100 million top milestone was doable but still required investment. Much more reasonable compared to 250 mil, but not too easy. I agree with others' sentiment that the Fire modifier was lackluster compared to the others.
