So, there is this bug where the game freezes whenever you accept gifts for example and suddenly, it even freezes when loading to start a battle...it's so frustrating.

With regard to gifts, check to see if the "last online" time is populated when opening your friend list. If that value doesn't show, then the game will likely freeze when attempting to send/receive gifts or when entering rift, relic, collection, or prizefight screens. Best to restart at that point while it's still safe to do so.
I always do though, still it's annoying when experiencing it all the time lol.
Hopefully they fix this.
