  I think a lot of the dislike stems from her killing Ms. Fortune in her story mode. Imo that just makes her more dynamic and interesting. She’s willing to do some awful things for her family, but she clearly still has a conscience. Like compared to Eliza who’s just straight up evil but seems to get less dislike than Cere.   guess that makes sense. i never hated her for that just because she felt regret for killing Ms. Fortune after the fact. also she’s pretty blind to the bad stuff the Medici do and that kinda gives her an excuse for doing all those things
