It does make it harder to do a bunch of nefarious stuff related to account switching and throw away accounts, yeah. It also prevents GUEST users from accidentally logging out of their level 70 account and losing it instantly with no way to return to it - happens more than you think!

'Bout time! Thanks for the heads up. I'll make a note for us to look into implementing this when it's available. Our hands are a little bit tied to engine updates beyond our control, but hopefully support arrives soon! I totally empathize with this missing feature, been a long time coming.

The AI is affected by your actions, so sometimes if you block and do nothing, they won't feel inclined to attack you because they aren't angry. If you take the offensive to them, they will be more likely to try and counter attack, and then you can go for blocks, and punishes.
