Make sure you don't have any previous filters on and that you are sorting by 'recent'. They 'new' tags will disappear as soon as you navigate away from your collection, so sorting by 'recent' is the best way to see what new fighters you have.

Since it's the Google Playstore, some players have had success re-logging into their Playstore on their device and then trying the Skullgirls store again. Also, make sure your 'Google Play Games' app is updated, sometimes that can prevent access to the Playstore.

If this happens regularly, you may have some corrupt files on your install and may need to reinstall the game. Likely your game client failed to load Big Band's assets correctly. Super rare that'd happen, but obviously it's possible.
