When we reach prestige level 100 in some character, make a discount from 25 to 50 percent on its improving , this at least gives us a reason to improve these irrelevant characters, on which 100 prestige has accumulated, after a long time. At least just reduce the cost of spending Canopy coins.

Interesting idea. Could be 5% reduction in cost for every 10levels of prestige. So at 100 you'll have 50% off. By that time you will have most definitely upgraded the character to max. Also, how would this interact with Shiny characters?
I do think Prestige levels should give some player benefit apart from bragging rights. Unique character borders for reaching X level of Prestige for example
