Annie Mid Air Dash

Okay, so i've seen a lot of Annie combo videos and in most of them the player will knock up the opponent and then somehow Annie performs a dash in mid air then continues the combo. Im just trying to figure out how to do that.

I'm trying to figure it out too, but I think you swipe to dash while Star Power is active? There seems to be other requirements too though, like it doesn't work if the opponent is too close, so you have to knock them away first using a special move or blockbuster.
