Is the problem that your Big Band isn't gaining any more XP? If so, the level cap for bronze fighters is level 30, which you have reached. This means your character cannot gain any more XP as there are no more levels to advance to for a bronze fighter.

When characters break into static like that it's because your phone doesn't have enough memory to render the sprites fast enough. Skullgirls uses massive highly detailed sprites (and Big Band uses the biggest), so sometimes lower tier phones struggle with them.
Unfortunately this is not a problem that's going to go away any time soon.
