HI, IVE BEEN PLAYING SKULLGIRLS MOBILE SINCE THE DAY IT CAME OUT AND WHILE I LOVE THIS GAME I FEEL LIKE THE END GAME IS VERY LACK LUSTER. IVE FINISHED ALL THE STORY MODES AND ALL THE ORIGN STORIES TO DATE. SO NATURALLY I HAVE LITTLE TO DO. WELL IVE SAVED A TON OF RELICS AND NOW HAVE A DECENT POOL OF DIAMOND FIGHTERS. I QUICKLY REALIZED THAT THERES A PROBLEM WITH UPGRADING NATURAL DIAMOND FIGHTERS. THE KEYS ARE WAY TO HARD AND RANDOM TO GET.
HERE ARE THE CURRENT WAYS TO EVEN OBTAIN A DIAMOND KEY.
1) ACCURSED EXPERIMENTS TREASURE NODE
2) COC TRINKETS TAB FOR 1,000,000 CANOPY COINS
3) COC TREASURES TAB FOR 1250 RIFT COINS
4) RIFT RANK OF AT LEAST DIAMOND 4
HERE ARE THE PROBLEMS WITH EACH METHOD FOR GETTING A KEY
1) ACCURSED EXPERIMENTS TREASURE NODE IS RANDOM ON THE KEY IT GIVES. WITH THE EVENT ONLY MATTERING ONCE A WEEK IT SEEMS UNRELIABLE TO OBTAIN A KEY FROM IT. TO DATE IVE ONLY GOTTEN TWO DIA KEYS SINCE THEY WHERE ADDIN IN THE NODES TREASURE POOL.
2) THE PRICE FOR THE KEY IN THE TRINKETS TAB OF THE COC IS WAY TO EXPENSIVE. CANOPY COINS ARER USED TO DO A LOT AND ITS RARE TO HAVE ENOUGH COINS WHEN IT DOES POP UP IN THE STORE. THEN IF YOU DO MANAGE TO SNAG ONE YOU HAVE TO WAIT AND GRIND EVEN HARDER TO GET THE COINS BACK TO LEVEL UP THE FIGHTER.
3) COC TREASURE TAB IS PROBABLY THE MOST RELIABLE WAY TO GET DIA KEYS. THE ISSUE HERE IS THAT YOU HAVE TO PLAY RIFT BATTLES TO GET THEM. RIFT BATTLES WHILE AT FIRST SEEMED EXCITING ACTUALLY KIND OF STINKS. ITS BASICALLY WHO HAS THE BEST CATALYST FOR THIER CHARACTERS. WITH MOST PEOPLE WHO CANT HIT DIAMOND 4 ONLY GETTING AROUND 600 MAX PER WEEK. WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST TWO WEEKS TO BE ABLE TO GET A KEY.
4) PEOPLE KEEP RAISING THE POINT CAP REQUIRED TO GET INTO DIAMOND. AS OF LAST WEEK YOU NEED AROUND 1500 AND UP TO GVEN GET CLOSE TO IT. THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU LOSE MORE COINS THEN YOU WIN. USUALLY THE PEOPLE WHO BEAT YOU HAVE DEFENSES YOU CANT BEAT SO FORGET ABOUT REVENGING.
HERE ARE SOME WAYS I BELIEVE THESE PROBLEMS CAN BE FIXED!
1) ADD A DIAMOND KEY TO THE 100% COMPLETION OF ACCURSED EXPERIMENTS. THIS ENSURES THAT YOU WILL AT LEAST GET ONE KEY PER WEEK MINIMUM WITH THE POTENTIAL TO GET A SECOND FROM THE TREASURE NODE. THIS ALSO JUSTIFIES THE RNG IN GETTING A KEY FROM THE NODE.
2) DROP THE PRICE OF THE IT TAKES TO GET A DIA KEY FROM THE TRINKETS TAB OF THE COC. 1,000,000 IS TO MUCH FOR ONE KEY. 700,00 SEEMS LIKE A FAIR PRRICE AND LOOKS BETTER THAN THAT HEFTY PRICE. KEEP IN MIND TO LEVEL UP A MOVE TO 15 YOU NEED TO SPEND 1,000,000 COINS, BUT THAT GIVES YOU A HUGE POWER SPIKE WHICH MAKES IT WORTH IT. SO IT MAKES IT REALLY HARD FOR PEOPLE TO JUSTIFY SPENDING IT ON ONE KEY.
3) I WOULDN'T CHANGE MUCH OF THE PRICE FOR THE TREASURE TAB COC DIA KEY. OUT OF ALL THE OPTIONS THIS ONE IS PROBABLY THE ONE THATS THE MOST AFFECTIVE ESPECIALLY SINCE MOST OF THE THINGS APPEARING IN THE TREASURE TAB OF THE COC ISN'T WORTH BUYING.
4) FIND A WAY TO HELP PLAYERS WHO AREN'T PAY TO WIN GET THE CHANCE TO GET HIGHER IN RANKINGS FOR RIFT BATTLES. I KNOW A LOT OF PLAYERS WHO HATE RIFT BATTLES BECAUSE IT REWARDS THE PLAYERS WHO PAY TO WIN AND LEAVES THE F2P PLAYERS FEELING LIKE THE DEVS DON'T CARE ABOUT THEM. MAYBE ADD A RANKED SYSTEM THAT HAS DIVISIONS AND TIERS. THE HIGHER IN YOUR CHOSEN DIVISION THE EASIER IT WOULD BE TO GET A KEY. THEN MOVE PEOPLE BETWEEN TIERS TO MAKE IT SO ITS NOT TO EASY, BUT STILL A CHALLENEG.
