I would suggest that you could tap on the enemy fighters and it would display a window similar to the ones in the catalog. Only showing the base stats, not showing the moves. Only to refresh on what their abilities were.
With the catalog we can view any fighter we want so I think it would be much easier to just tap on the enemy fighter to see the default stats
