Who hasn't played Skullgirls and imagined their favorite character after they made an ill-advised wish on the Skull Heart? This Halloween art contest is the perfect chance to show the world your ideas!

The theme of this contest is simple: Draw your favorite Skullgirls character as The Skullgirl!

There have been many Skullgirls throughout history and so far we've seen four fully realized Skullgirls across Skullgirls 2nd Encore and Skullgirls Mobile. Here are all of them together to give you inspiration!

You don't need to copy these designs for your own take on the Skullgirl. These are purely for inspiration. Be as creative as you like!
You need to imagine any Skullgirls character as the Skullgirl. Playable or Non-Playable characters are all fine.
This contest is happening during Halloween, but you don't need to make a specifically Halloween picture. The Skullgirl herself is spooky enough!
You are free to enter digitally or traditionally.

CONTEST RULES:
  • Your task is to draw your favorite Skullgirls character as The Skullgirl.
  • Skullgirls Mobile is rated T for Teen, so your contest entries should be the same!
  • We will be linking to the winners from our Social Media pages, so we cannot accept entries from NSFW Twitter or Instagram accounts.
SUBMISSION DETAILS:
  • This contest will run from October 14th - November 6th.
  • To submit entries you need to post your art on Instagram or Twitter and use the hashtag #SkullgirlsHalloween2022.
  • You can enter as many times as you like, but you can only win once. Make sure all of your entries have the #SkullgirlsHalloween2022 hashtag.
PRIZES:
  • 10 Winners will receive a bundle of prizes for both Skullgirls Mobile and 2nd Encore:

Skullgirls 2nd Encore:
1x Skullgirls 2nd Encore key for Steam
1x SG2E Season 1 Pass key for Steam

Skullgirls Mobile:
1x 10+1 Spooky Relic voucher
1x Nightmare Relic
1x Beowulf - Fan Favorite
1x Squigly - Necrobreaker
1x Robo-Fortune - Number Cruncher

  • The winning entries will also be featured on our social media accounts after the contest.

Both of those are fine! "Make an art piece of your favorite Skullgirl character as the Skullgirl" is probably a more accurate description, but it's already too wordy as it is :p
 
Sad for Annie's Mother to have no name :(
I might try to do something, but after Halloween (weirdly) : I already have several things to do/draw beforehand

Tengo como dos preguntas.
1. The winners will be 10 or 5? This was not clear to me when I saw that 5 are mentioned on Twitter and here 10
2. Will this be decided by likes or will you decide who will win? I already participated, and in a way that detail scares me :(

● I know it sounds obvious, but you still ask, can I draw Beowulf as a skullgirl? or rather with the theme that she offers? he is my favorite character 😅
 
This Art Contest is about Likes? or your personal judgement? i mentioned this because ..and sorry if this sounds mean, there are many great concepts with less likes than others that used apps or bots to get likes! :(( ! I personally would like to have a answer about this. Thanks!
 
How will the winners be chosen?? By design? By work itself? Or all at once? It will just not be very fair that they will select works on skill, and not on design creativity. Skill also needs to be considered, but not in the first place 🤔

Dahlia´s launch in mobile, and patch work before Christmas was a loooot of work before the holydays break they announced they would take.

They are reviewing tons of works (I checked up the hashtag and there were a lot of amazing fanarts!!) so maybe after these days they will be back with news about it!! (Because back then the work´s high rate there was, they even had a delay in Umbrella´s combo contest and asked apologies for it).

But worry no! Just remember: In SGM universe, there is always halloween....! :D
