Help defeating a difficult node

My characters had lesser power than the enemies but I still managed to defeat 2 of them but when I got to the last one it was impossible to beat there was nothing I could do

This doesn't sound like a bug to me. Going to move this elsewhere and perhaps some players can provide some tips.
