How does bonus damage SA's even work?

I was considering investing in SQUIGLY - PLOT TWISTED, not only because it is a great deffense, but for attack as well - For anything that gives you debuffs for just existing, like any ROBO FORTUNE with the DDOS Marquee Ability.

20k damage for just 2 debuff stacks is insane.

However, I remembered seeing once in a ZeoW video "Fighter Showcase: Purrminator - Robo-Fortune" that investing in ROBO FORTUNE - PURRMINATOR attack% stat wasn't worth it since her increasing damage SA WASN'T affected by the atk Special Move modifier. Meaning that her 3% increase in damage per crit hit can't be massively scaled since it's a 3% increase off her base damage with no bonuses from Special Moves (9.9k dmg in DIAMOND at LVL 60).

And recently, I read in chat that this is the same case for PAINWHEEL - FLY TRAP

So I want to know: Is this how ALL damage increasing SA's work? Or does it only work like that on certain variants - And if it does, which are these variants that ignore atk bonuses from Special Moves as far as we know?

IIRC, this also happens with JawBreaker

Hmm SA bonus DMG do ignore atk bonuses from moves and specials. That's why fighters with access to enrage are better as enrage buffs your overall DMG output including bonuses from moves too.
