Ever since I picked up the game in 2018, BB3s have fundamentally left a bitter taste in my mouth. Moves that are 100% guaranteed to hit and have very little counterplay just aren't exactly very fun. Note how they're balanced by just making the AI dumb.
With how we have unblockable moves now, maybe it'd be interesting if BB3s worked closer to the other BBs 'but were unblockable'? That'd allow a liiiitle more room for counterplay which I think would be cool. Something like tagging out as soon as the opponent's BB3 activates or having them somehow whiff it (whether through evade or through misuse)...
It'd be super hype, wouldn't it? Plus, that could potentially help mitigate the power creep issues we've been having with some of the new variants.
