Bug - Crash losing rift battle before it starts

This has happened multiple times before and I feel like I should have said something about it a long time ago. The game would work normally for most fights but when it's rift fight thing get weird, in rift the game will crash and make you lose before fighting, or you just click the battle and you lose. The chance of that happening is around 5%.

To be clear, you're saying roughly 5% of the time you try to start a rift battle fight, the game is crashing? When exactly is the crash? What device are you playing on?
