C'mon now you can't just say someone needs a nerf or not when you look at their abilities on paper. We'll have to see how he plays out in the coming weeks to see if a nerf is necessary.

Why is Number One so high? Don't you have to rely on being hit to gain enrage? In my experience one or two combos and a BB here and there is more than enough to get you killed.

I could say the same thing about making day 1 tier lists.

From what I'm playing so far I was basically 100% correct on Hype Mode. Unless the A.I. you're facing against is incredible, it almost never gets used by them if you play smart. I'm glad to see an ability that rewards a player for effectively playing the game. And again it's not too long to so I can heavily abuse it.

Also blease don't nerf Weekend Warrior's death resist just give me one character that can not die against unblockables in pf l;askdjf

There are certain abilities you know are going to be broken. Take a look at the a-wall (the 'a' is short for asshole) from titanfall 2. Efficient placement of it negates a lot of damage, as well as boosting your own for firing through it. You use it correctly and it can easily mean the difference between life and death. That's the effect of WW here. Use it right and you're not dying, for a maximum of 15 seconds. Which, by the way, is more than long enough to survive the dreaded BB3. It lets you eat one of them, tag out if necessary, or finish the match. And considering really only Cerebella AIs consistently throw break, this isn't too hard to achieve. In addition, it's not a one time thing like Encore. It's EVERY time you get hype. How is that not broken?

Dude he needs a nerf as bad as I need self-esteem. Just set it for 10 seconds, as long as the other effects, and he's fine. What the game gives him is essentially a stack of 5 armor, and it's not up to rng (well, as much. Provided they don't throw break it isn't.) This lets him eat bb3s with almost no punishment, other than wasting hype. 3 grabs, and that's another 15 seconds of not dying.

Nevermind the abilities, look at Wulf Shoot. Start your ground chain, combo if it hits, Wulf Shoot if it doesn't. As if command grabs weren't ridiculous enough in this game, now you've got true SF2-style tick setups to go with them. Nothing the opponent can do to escape.

Number One is so high because he gains enrage "on hit" not "when hit." Speaking of which, @moisterrific you need to change the ability on Number One in your list because you wrote "when hit." Use an outtake to force a tag or let the AI tag on their own. Bam you have Haste for 10 seconds. Now land one combo during this 10 seconds. The basic combo is Dash Atk > Ground Combo > Launcher > Juggle > Sweep. That's basically around 11 hits with 20% chance to gain enrage per hit. You can easily gain 3-5 stacks of enrage for 10 seconds in one combo with his ability, and while you're building this enrage you're also building meter super fast with haste. If he weren't bogged down by the stat difference of not being a true gold fighter, he would probably be S tier. He's really that good. Play around with him if you have him.

You aren't making a very convincing case for why Weekend Warrior is supposedly OP. He's nowhere near as durable as an Armed Forces or a Resonant Evil because he doesn't have access to armor procs in his ability or even from a taunt. That death resist is realistically only going to be used once per fight since once you get knocked to critical HP where you're using his hype mode to survive, you aren't going to be healing back up high enough to take advantage of it again before a time out. It sounds to me like you're just overreacting over the fact that he can pop hype mode and not die for a period of 15 seconds, which isn't a big deal. Just stall the 15 seconds, then finish him.

You say 3 grabs and that's another 15 seconds of not dying, but it's not that simple. If you're that close to dying that you used his hype mode to avoid it then your HP is basically at 1, and any chip damage will kill you. And let's not forget, you're racing against the clock. Tagging out to let him get enough HP to not die to chip damage is going to take a long time. Regenerating scratch damage is extremely slow. By the time that you regen enough HP to not die from chip damage, you probably won't have enough time to do 3 throws to get hype mode ready again.

Please do enlighten me on how he's so overpowered. On paper it sounds overpowered, but if you actually think about it in practical application, it's really not. Yeah he might be annoying because you won't be able to kill him for 15 seconds. But he's not on Armed Forces' or even Resonant Evil's levels of durability.
Alright, I may be overreacting a fair amount, but he still seems absolutely bonkers to be player controlled. The main thing I'm thinking of is how easy it is to pull it off since his air combo finisher counts as a grab. Pulling off an air combo gives you access to a decent amount of damage, as well as a free grab that is inescapable. The main reason why I'm so excited for this is because we finally get a solution to a BB3 other than RE or AF. Res Evil is by far the easier of the two to get, though at max his ability only has a 1 in 10 chance of being hit. For you RNG may not be a *****, but he always screws me over against BB3s. The stun is nice and useful, helping a fair amount unless you get hit by a BB3 and you can't get up to at least 3. AF is someone I will fully admit I'm not too aware of what she does, seeing as a don't really have access to her since, as aforementioned, RNG is a *****. I remember from the campaign she can get armor and unflinching, which is annoying to fight. However, not as dangerous as Res Ev. While PC, Cere and BB shouldn't really be needing to trigger their abilitiew that often, because you shouldnt be getting hit. With Beowulf, the same applies, you don't want to be hit much (though this is a rather poor point, nobody does). But he has something the other two don't: hype mode. By far, this may be his most important mechanic. Once activated, it provides inescapable grabs, stalling against the pesky AF and Untouchable. His moves are upgraded too, dealing more damage. With WW, he gains haste, speeding up blockbuster gains. I do realize now that while he can survive a bb3, he most likely won't survive too long afterwards. Yet getting caught by anything else while HM is up gives you a car better chance. Taking a bb2 and bouncing into a combo puts you pretty much out of commission, though not before providing you with a bb3 to finish them off with thanks to haste. The immunity allows you to beat up opponents and not take any sort of negative rebuffs, as well as get beat up by those that would inflict them. Overall, taking a step back and looking at him yields a view of a very powerful character, though not absolutely broken. Still think he needs a nerf though.

Anyone manage to get these two Blockbusters? :3
  • Lupine Pummel BB2
  • Airwulf BB2
I've been trying to do many missions but can't seem to find either of these. Anyone know if they are currently in the game?

(I only have wulf blitzer and wulf shoot :3)

Yes they're in the game. It just takes a bit of time. You'll get them eventually.

I've only gotten 2 gold diamonds are forever in 3 months of playing. There are some moves you get more often than others, and there are some that you sometimes just can't seem to get at all. It's all RNG.

Can you post their pictures? What do these moves look like?

I can totally do this for you later! Would you like a shot of the icon? Or an actual screenshot of the moves in action?

An actual screenshot of the moves would be a huge motivation for me to go HAM this Wednesday thank you!
