error code 8.UDE.37 i tried both on WiFi and data. He recently downloaded the game but can’t get past the boot camp as this error keeps popping up once he’s finished. Any help would be appreciated!

This is a known bug. The simplest way to get past it is to uninstall the game, reinstall it and go through the tutorial again.
If you're on an android device, make sure to clear your cache before reinstalling!
