I am just confused about why they created something so awful.
His first SA, is actually perfect and has use.

But 5% chance on hit to inflict stun for 3 seconds is just problematic, in the sense that I don't understand how you wake up and write that without get a stroke.

And just to make it more stupid, you inflict 50% bonus damage to your enemies if they are stunned, but just for blockbusters?
In resume, the only use of this joke, is the randomly increase a bit the damage to multi hit blockbusters.

Usually, stun will block your own moves time to time, or will be inflicted in a useless moment.


To fix this, I would make stun last 6 seconds, or you have an increasing chance to stun in base of the combo count (up to 50%) in base of your combo score, this effect just be inflicted for the last hit of each combo.
This is directly related to his TUBA TUBA, that was changed basically in this way, passed to have a low chance to stun in each hit to have a good chance to stun just in the final hit.


Still, this is a minor fixing for an obvious problem.
But I would like more if they just delete and rework totally all this mess with stunning and BB bonus damage, anything else is just better.
Maybe, each time that gets enrage regains 5% hp, or X% to inflict death mark and armor break.
 
If you think he's bad now, you should have seen him on his prime where he used to stun lock his opponents on pretty much every match

Band's rework was a welcomed change, but was certainly not enough. He still has bugs vs Heavy Characters where his combos just drop... and he was supposed to be the original long combo string character.

A lot of variants received some uplifting then, but it was certainly not enough, or in the wrong direction. Private PP has potential and a good reason why his Stun is unchanged, is because he's a variant that strongly benefits from Cymbal Clash. Essentially, each hit from it has 2 separate rolls for a Stun, 35% and 7.5%(max Acc). The stun however is mostly good for locking out the opponent from using Bursts, and rarely comes into play for resets, as it's not predictable.

Honestly, I think the best fix would be the following:
5% chance on HIT to STUN opponent for 2/2.5/3 seconds. Combo hits refresh STUN DURATION (up to 1.5 sec), and while the opponent is STUNNED, BLOCKBUSTERS deal 50% BONUS DAMAGE.

This way you benefit from all STUN sources, not just your own. And since the duration is refreshed with each combo hit, Band's BBs which are long, multi-hit and chain into each other have a higher chance of benefiting the 50% bonus damage.

Overturned? Maybe. But considering how little damage Private PP does, I think it won't be that bad.
