- Currently, Painwheel’s Grudge is much less popular than Tainted Blood, even though it was tweaked quite a while ago. Gaining both Enrage and a shield at the same time is powerful, but the fact that it activates on a critical hit is a drawback.
- To begin with, Tainted is just too strong… It is definitely the strongest in defense, and is somewhat useful in at offense too.
Grudge doesn't look so bad if you just look at the text, but the conditions are exactly the same as the perfect Tainted and easily get countered, so players want to choose Tainted naturally. This kind of situation is very similar to that of a Big Band’s Soloist before the reworking.
- Grudge is not bad as a countermeasure against multi-hit attacks by defensive fighters, but it has much more limited uses than Tainted. Especially now that guest stars have been added, enemy piercing and crit damage have inflated, making armors often meaningless.
Here’s my suggestion:

- While Tainted is strong in defense, I've considered making this ability more useful on offense.
Each blocking gives her permanent damage increase, which will allow her to further enhance the high attack power! Block proficiency would also be a worthwhile investment.
- This makes it more useful for dealing with multiple hits in offense than before, and will be shine in many situations.
