So my current rift battle after clearing the enemy map I check my base to see their progress and it very clearly showed 2 attempts on my boss node which both resulted in "lost" for the player im vsing. I just check back about 10 mintues ago and the second attempted changed from a "lost" to a "won" with no third attempt being made. Not sure if this was a visual bug or if it was just a delay bug but it seems very strange to see a very clear 2x "lost" change to a 1x "lost" 1x "won". Both times his team was very capable of winning so I can't determine if it was a bug or a hack of some sort.
