Bug - Crash VERSUS mode bug in free for all

Good afternoon, I'm here to report a possible error that happened to me and my friend while we were playing "VERSUS" in "Free For All" mode.

My friend ( USER: Naodemi ID: 1cpm-3a05f ) and I (USER: bunx_bell ID: opkh-avvr7) got into VERSUS in "Free For All" mode in the PRIVATE option, with: Toad Warrior, Freeze frame and Tidal travelled as my opponent, and me with Fire branded, Surgeon general and Inkling. The problem started when, from my point of view, tw of my fighters died, but I revived them and killed Tidal travelled with Surgeon general and then my other opponents normally, but at the end of the fight my friend claims that she has killed me me, specifically describing how she saw that she killed all my fighters without any kind of interruption from me, but from my point of view that didn't happened, then I started to describe how this was completely different from my POV, cause I killed her without any interruption. both of us saw the K.O animation on our screens, but the fact was that we both lost for no reason apparently

Our theory was that, it probably disconnected us without taking us out of the game, we are still very confused about this. We didn't record the fight, so we can't show our perspective on the game, but we want to find out if this is a bug on the part of VERSUS mode, and see if it can be fixed or compensated for somehow. The only proof that this happened is the chat we had after the game, here is the proof:

There will always be a possibility of a desync in Versus mode, since we're relying on the network connection to be stable the whole way through, but obviously network stability can cause issues.

That being said, there are some cases that will ALWAYS cause a desync. As you may have noticed, some fighters and moves are banned in Versus mode. This is because they always desync the fight. If you and your friend are able to consistently get a desync with the same fighters or moves, please let me know!
