When comes 7.2?

Dead game. Was a fun ride lads
Yeah... If anything, AG needs to deal with HVS's issues before they can create new content. The game will be in maintenance mode for some time, so we won't be getting anything new for, I'd assume, at least 5 months or longer. HVS was already hurting the game with questionable updates, rushed systems, and flooding it with Gold and Diamond variants instead of introducing Silver and Bronze variants, all while still not having a pity system. The game was already heading down a sad, greedy, and broken path; it was on its way out anyway. Honestly, all AG needs to do is add balance changes and bug fixes, and that would keep the game alive a bit longer.

I hope they add balance changes soon and updates to fix bugs, that would be enough good.

7.2 is supposed to come in April, but without Hidden Variable there may be nothing. No new set of 6 fighters for the next three months, probably not even backstage passes or custom art. Just the monthly Prize Fights autoplaying until Autumn Games struggles to contribute something.

Huh? Is there much demand for weaklings that only get evolved to gold out of boredom?

all while still not having a pity system
Never heard of relic shards, eh? Ever since patch 2.4 (June 2018) players could eventually get better relics simply by opening lesser relics.

Hard disagree with that pessimistic take. HVS was doing fine, but now no one is flying the plane.

You're completely missing the point. The issue isn’t whether lower-tier fighters are 'weaklings'—it’s that HVS neglected the foundation of the game while overloading it with Gold and Diamond variants, making progression feel hollow. Expanding the lower tiers would have helped with long-term balance and variety instead of forcing players to rely on a bloated top-end meta.

And let’s be real—relic shards don’t fix the problem. They only give you a random variant, not the one you actually want, and they’re not easy to get. You need 100 shards to pull a relic, and even then, you’re rolling the dice on what you get. The shard system is just RNG with extra steps, not a proper pity system. You only get 4 shards per fighter, meaning it takes forever to save up. That’s not a reliable way to target specific fighters, which is a major flaw.

Also, calling my take 'pessimistic' is just avoiding reality. I’m being honest—HVS was doing fine for a while, but after the Big Band update last year, things started going downhill. A lot of players were unhappy with the direction of the updates, and things aren’t looking any better. The game needed stability, but instead, it kept getting rushed content and questionable decisions. That’s not pessimism—that’s just calling it like it is.
