Why replays are available just for your own attacks?

The problem with replays is that they are only available for your own attacks and NOT for defenses.

I already saw my attack, i am not playing with me eyes closed, regularly.

The idea that it has not been implemented first for defenses is incomprehensible to me, and I would really like to know WHY?
How they thought we needed replay for the fights we played so badly that they added it LONG before defense reps.

Please don't get me wrong, i know there is a purpose with: "report bugs is easier" but that's a boring TASK and not something cool to do.
Instead, see how other player's peacock with no moves and bronze tier killed my best defenses is cool and worth.

You already mentioned the key reason, and that's bug tracking. You can't know if a bug happened during a fight you didn't personally see. It's also made this way so people can share content more easily. Let's say you had a clutch fight, interesting interaction, need advice for a fight or want to show off a specific combo. Recording non-stop while playing isn't optimal, neither for performance nor for catching that exact moment

I think it'll be interesting to see the other perspective too. Just giving reasons why it's implemented the way it is
