Will The Logout Feature Ever Come?

I was basically scrolling through the forums, before I even made this account and I managed to come across a post saying "Is there a way to log out?", the devs being helpful like they are they answered with basically "The only way to log out is reinstalling the game", but the second part caught me offguard, they said "We're working on a proper logout buttom for a future update, sorry for the inconvenience!"

Even though, it was from 2018, do you still think this feature could make it's way into the game at some point?
Also I apologize if this sounds like me begging for it, but I'm just a bit curious
