The changes made to "Take the A Train" in patch 6.3

The effect rework of "Take the A Train" is an indirect nerf to Heavy Metal's Signature Ability 2. Previously, you could finish a combo with Take the A Train and gain Armor for quite a decent duration. That not only boosted Take the A Train's damage, but also all other BBs, especially BB3.

Reliance on Taunt or his very low duration Signature Ability 1, which is honestly weaker than Resonant Evil's Signature Ability 1, which does the exact same thing, is not very effective.


Please either, bring back the Armor gain back to Take the A Train, but also reduce the BB Reduction effect, so it's more balanced.

Or Rework Heavy Metal's signature ability 1 to the following:

Old SA1

10/12/15% chance to gain ARMOR for 5 seconds when HIT with a close-range attack (includes Blocking).​
New SA1
50/75/100% chance to gain ARMOR for 5 seconds when using a SPECIAL ABILITY​


Or anything else, which doesn't nerf Heavy Metal's potential on offense
 
An easy change would be to make his first SA activate when either fighter gets hit. That way, you still get old A Train's effect on his ability.

Yep, that can work too
