bronze character to silver

if i upgrade bronze character to silver, are the skills that i upgrade remain?
and after i upgrade to silver, should i use silver keys to unlock the skill upgrades?

The only thing that changes for the character is the stat and level caps, and they're considered a "Silver" character for things like Prize Fights.

I can't confirm, but I don't *think* so. It makes sense to me that if you can use them for silver things (I was using my evolved Headstrong and Understudy Cerebellas in the Gold valentine PF) you would no longer be able to use them for bronze things.

No you cannot use silver units that were originally bronze in bronze only fights, I made that mistake with my op cerebela, I upgraded her to silver and I was only left with a 500 fp painwheel to do the rest of the bronze challenges, I eventually got through all bronze only fights for every difficulty with that painwheel but it certainly was a mess.
