Nearly Departed’s sigs are interesting, but since the effects are overlapping, it feels like a waste. So here’s a suggestion!

Nearly Departed🟡

Sig1 - Using BB at an odd combo will grant INVINCIBLE for 8 sec and RESURRECT teammates with 15% HP.

Sig2 - While INVINCIBLE, no DRAGON CHARGES are consumed. Charges that would have been consumed are converted to 5% of reserve teammate's HP.

- Combine Sig1 and Sig2 into one and added new sig2.

- Even if you try to revive, you will be defeated the moment your health drops below 50% most of the time because she is naturally silver. Removed the limit to utilize it more, but instead, reduced the amount of teammate HP when reviving.

- The new sig2 allows for stronger actions while invincible, and follows up on the HP nerf of sig1 (former sig2).

Hey,

I only play a few Squiglies it would be nice if we get a decent Squigly, but as she is a silver I won't get my hopes unnecessarily high.

I think she needs to get stronger the lower her health gets thus the name "Nearly Departed". Or it could just be a basic wordplay on the "Dearly Departed" phrase, dunno. That aside here is what I think:

She is still very niche but at least possibly more usable? The thing is I always use Special Moves first before Blockbusters when playing Squigly, so I'm not sure how Dragon Charges' being not consumed supposed to help. Maybe there are different playstyles, combos that I am not aware of but yeah.

My suggestions:

If combo count "0" counts as an even combo, maybe changing odd to even can be a decent upgrade as she would be able to use Daisy Pusher for finishing off foes like Immoral Fiber and she would work so much better overall.

SA2 sounds like it would hinder charging the prestige ability, maybe changing the mechanic to REFUND would be better as it would both use the charge and grant you another one which will charge up the prestige quickly.

- I strongly believe that invincible shouldn't be a buff that easily obtained for a long period of time. Triple Threat, Locked In, Lucky etc. can gain invincible, but the conditions are strict or random, and even if the conditions are not strict, it tends to last very short periods of time. Odd combo is a way to balancing it imo

- But for sig2, you’re right. I wasn't thinking about PA. Refund system is unprecedented, but I did my best. Here’s my second suggestion.

Nearly Departed🟡 (2nd)

Sig1 - Using BB at an odd combo will grant INVINCIBLE for 8 sec and RESURRECT teammates with 15% HP.

Sig2 - While INVINCIBLE, the first hit of an attack that consumes DRAGON CHARGE will instantly restore 1 DRAGON CHARGE and heal 5% HP for all reserve teammates.

- “The first hit” does not have to be the first hit of the move itself. If the second or subsequent hit of a multiple-hit attack such as charge attack, leg sweep, drag 'n' bite, or uppercut got firstly hitting the opponent, it will be considered as a “first hit”.

Fair enough 👍

This would charge up Prestige a lot faster, good adjustment.
