I dont know if this worked for anyone else, but of you use Meow and Furever Ms. Fortune with both buffs 'Chicks Dig Scars' and 'Cloud Nine' active she basically becomes invincible. No matter how long you fight and no matter how much stronger you're character is, you cant win. Though it's not a major issue its kinda annoying. Made me lose some rift points too. Anyone else had this problem?

Same here man I know the pain

Yeah I've reported this before but the devs never responded. I know this doesn't fix the issue, but if you get lucky enough to get furry fury, death wish, or any Marie that can inflict quietus, that's how you'll get around this bug

this is anything but a bug. Even simply using immunity and just keeping her under 10% for 11 sec works, healblock or simply buff removal works. Queitus now too yes.

The issue, and reason it's a bug, is most characters can't satisfy the conditions required to beat it. Gaining immunity, inflicting heal block, buff removal, etc. are character specific, so that leaves the majority of fighters unable to beat this otherwise simple fight.

every character has atleast 1 move or variant that can deal with it. Your job as a player is to pick the correct fighter for the fight. Im not bringing my GI Jazz to fight a Corrosive agent, a defender thats also otherwise pretty simple with the correct variant. Use moves that help you or abilities, but dont go into fights blindly. Easiest is to bring eliza with the chaos banish move equipped!

Hello! Sorry to hear you´re having problems with MaF, but there are tons of moves and SA that help you out with that furr problem:

Eliza has chaos Banish to remove buffs on hit or block. Parasoul and Squigly has inmunity taunts to skip the stunt debuff. Silent Kill Valentine, a gold and diamond PF prize, can erase buffs on hit. Tinted Rose Umbrella can get and give Thorns to her team mates so they can kill Meow and Furever by reflected damage when they get hit, as well like Tresh Chicc Valentine, or Cerebella Master Mind.

Parasoul BB Canopy bound can erase buffs, Squigly dragon uppercut (sorry, drop the name) can hit hard, and if charged, can inflict curse. Filia´s BB tempered drill can erase Buffs on hit...

And if all those tactics fails, you can just tag out your opponents to remove all her non permanent buffs! :D

This is just a bunch of tools that you can use, of all the ones the game has to counter that variant.

Hope you can defeat her soon!!

That's not really the point. The point is, I can use the batman variant of beowolf with double the fight score and not win that fight. This is a fighting game, so skill should be the defining factor. But it's not. That's the bug.

I get that you don't agree though

While I see the frustration fighting with dark might, it can be seen as a skill to not pick a bad variant for the fight to begin with. Nevertheless, even he can win this fight if you keep up the pressure and time the grab bb2 correctly as it goes through stun and hits sufficiently often to not allow the MnF above 10% during the animation. This is probably the hardest method to kill a MnF with 5 perma regen so I would strongly advice against it, and just pick a variant that easily deals with her. Beast king, wulfsbane or weekend warrior if you want to use a beowulf for example.

Also, dont forget she doesn't just spawn in with 5 regen as it has conditions you can circumvent if played skillfully.

having a higher fighter score doesnt automatically translate to winning the fight =)

Definitely, knowing the right combinations is a skill. There are several ways around it and checking the modifiers is a good way to prepare.

I guess I just disagree with the devs design choice to make fights impossible to win. Very difficult fights are fine, but actually impossible fights are just bad game design. Every fighter combo (for fighters within their classes) should be winnable, even if you chose poorly for the match up. It should just make it harder. Not impossible

While I do see where you're getting from here, It does, in fact, take skill or patience for that matter.

Not sure if you already knew this like Stone does but iirc, every character has at least one BB or special move that doesn't "stop" when you're stunned like Cerebella's Diamond Drop and Beowulf's Airwulf. What does that have to do here? All you need to do now is to lower MaF's hp to less than 10% health and activate said move a moment away from the final stand buff's expiration.

If you can execute the above correctly, you'll end up with a dead MaF and a stunned character waiting for the next guy to tag in and make your life a living hell.

Which means you acknowledge it is impossible, not just harder, if you don't choose the correct move set. Also, I'm guessing you didn't actually read my specific case, because your solution to it wouldn't have worked anyways...

My actual argument is against how the game treats their players. Impossible fights happen time and time again in this game which makes it more luck based than skill. No matter how easy a character is to fight in the optimal conditions, it's always possible to get into a fight that is impossible to win, like in HoM where you don't know who you're fighting until you're in the fight, or prize fights when your opponent maxed out their defense and your bleeders are recharging and you're on a streak.

By the way, that "one BB" you're talking about is the level 3 blockbuster for all characters. All of them continue through stun. Still doesn't help if it's not charged or equipped though.

Then that would just be skill issue. Not thinking about your lineup and their respective moveset, and then expecting that any fight is possible to beat is just stupid. There's a reason why this game is strategic and that's because you actually need to use your brain.

When your enemies are chosen at random, yes. The rest, which is the majority, already have a chosen lineup ready for you to examine.

I don't really see the problem here, if your bleeders are recharging then just wait patiently.

And no, I'm not talking about the BB3s, I did give a few examples in my previous reply and it seems like you're the one who didn't read it. Not in any rush here, just fooling around in my couch, you can take your time to read all the replies before this. The answer is there, you just need to understand.

Not sure who you're actually arguing. I already agreed in a previous post that choosing your move set is a skill. Please read the thread you're posting on. If you still don't understand, you might have a reading comprehension issue.

Again you're just agreeing with me...

I agree with you here, the bleeder example wasn't a good example. You can check the moveset stat bonuses, and that would make it not luck based. A better example would be when a PF has a modifier that gives arbitrary buffs or debuffs. That can force you to lose or the opponent to win based solely on RNG. Another one is the resistance stat which activates randomly.

I guess I struck a cord with that one if your main response was "no, you". You're combining two unrelated arguments. The moves you suggested to get me out of my impossible fight wouldn't have worked. That's a fact. Level 3 BBs ignore stun. That's a fact. This isn't an insult, just some advice; you really need to read and comprehend the thread before jumping in. We can't have a useful argument if you don't understand what you're arguing.
