OFFICIAL - 6.1 Update Notes - Marie's Full Release

We have a law on adding new event characters to the general pool of relics 3 months after their introduction (That is, when another new character is introduced into the event). Now they introduced BP and it turned out that “All characters are equal before the law, but BP characters are more equal”Those people who did not donate to the BP, or donated, but wanted a new diamond, receive the following: Previously, you could accumulate diamond guarantors in order to have a chance to knock out a new character with the release of the update, but now you get a SUSPENSION in the release of new characters for a YEAR. (Yes, I do not classify exclusive characters as new, since what the minority of the community receives cannot be compared with the release of the King, Death Wish and other event diamonds)The entire community was howling for characters from the BP to be added 3 months after their appearance - the developer ignored and said that they would be closer to the new year, that is, 3 months after the release of all six characters. What do we see now? Three months have passed, and the developers are again pushing back their release by three months. We have SK 2.0, aka Fang, we have a character who ignores most of the most hated protective effects from the start, aka Blue, we have the only gold Umbrella worth investing in, but all of them will be inaccessible to the vast majority of the community. Bravo, developers.All you have to do is start introducing characters that will turn the entire meta upside down, making them exclusive and blocking their acquisition for the vast majority. PLEASE, STOP.
Hmmm....now that's something really interesting to look up about. Although kinda concerning and worth awaring.

I suggest that you try to contact our Devs or support regarding about this and post your comments and questions at your heart's contempt.

I voiced my concern about this "feature" a while ago when people proposed this, that it'd be very annoying to people that often leveling their fighters by bringing one carry and 2 others (often bronze or silver) with no moves whatsoever. The best example is holodeck hazard, there is no way I'm gonna bring all three fully invested, 5 moves equiped fighters just to waste a daily ticket. My suggestion is to give us an option to turn on/off warnings.
You're not the only one who is complaining about this. Please look up at forums that point out at * The No / Missing Moves Notice posts with both Me and Evilnut.

So far, the 6.1 patch is a massive upgrade. I look forward to testing out the catalyst changes this weekend. However, the patch is slightly soured by:

  • New monthly fighters being gated to the far future cancelled my "grand relic opening" that was being saved for Marie's release plan
  • The "no moves equipped" warning is more mildly annoying than helpful. As several mentioned, a toggle, or only a warning for primary fighter only should help
  • Now with NINE Neutral fighters in the game, how come there isn't a Neutral modifier for Season's Beatings, hmm?

Seeing the Overwatch Mercy Valentine, makes me want the Widowmaker Parasoul to get in SGM. Maybe a SA that inflicts DOOM or CURSE or HEX whenever she does a gun-related move (Silent Scope BB, Napalm Shot, etc.)
 
PSA - you can now search a player by their ID instead of their display name to request on friend list.

Maybe this has always been the case but the field still only says “Display name” so that should be updated. So much easier to copy ID now so you can finally add people with names in foreign languages or symbols.

Question for @Sairus - does Parasoul’s character catalyst still inflict “permanent” bleed or is this now just a normal stack? The description doesn’t include a time duration but the word “permanent” is gone now. I haven’t found anyone using it so it’d be nice if you could clarify. Thanks!
 
Speaking of IMMINENT THREAT, it seems to be one of the few character-specific catalysts that boosts other characters. I fought an Eliza that was using it's bleed powers.

Parasoul gains PRECISION when spawning a TEAR. Each CRITICAL HIT Parasoul lands increases CRIT DAMAGE by 10 - 110%, and inflicts permanent BLEED.Parasoul gains PRECISION when spawning a TEAR. Each CRITICAL HIT landed by either Fighter inflicts BLEED on the opponent and increases Parasoul's CRIT DAMAGE by 50 - 150%.

If I recall correctly, it was a timeless BLEED. Not permanent bolted down, just fully there with no countdown. I'll need to see it again or get HVS to chime in.

Protip: If you want to trip me up, use the beefed-up DOOMSDAY DEVICE. It has caught me slipping a few times. Easy to underestimate based on its previous weakness (only an Eliza would maybe manage to build a level 3 meter). Stalling second-life fighters on single nodes make it a death trap.

In 6.0, Marie made her playable debut in Skullgirls Mobile. With 6.1, she's finally ready for full release!

That means Marie will now have her full suite of Prize Fights, Relics, and Deployments. Of course that’s not all – there’s lots of extra bits and bobs squeezed into this update, too!

MARIE’S FULL RELEASE

AVAILABILITY


As of 6.1, Marie will be available in all Standard Relics. This includes Premiere, Jackpot, Elemental, Bronze/Silver/Gold/Diamond, and many other Relics. Any non-Event Relics you had saved up before 6.1 now have a chance to grant Marie Fighters!

Marie's Moves are also now available in all standard Bronze/Silver/Gold Move Relics as well as the Daily and Take a Break Relics.

Marie’s Character Relic, the Resurrection Relic, will now be available to purchase for 200 Theonite whenever her Prize Fight is active (more on that below). The Resurrection Relic guarantees a Marie Fighter, so they’re a great way to fill out your Collection and/or get the resources needed to evolve your favorite Marie Fighter.

PRIZE FIGHTS

Marie’s Prize Fights have been added to the schedule! They will be added to the existing Prize Fight rotation starting on Thursday 14th December. If you're looking to bulk up your Marie collection, get ready for this PF! Remember, you can earn a guaranteed Marie Fighter if you reach the final Milestone in each Prize Fight, but if you want to get the top rewards - be prepared, the competition will be stiff!

Short, Medium, and Long Deployments featuring Marie Bonus Reward Chances have been added to the list of possible Deployments. If you come across the Long Marie Deployment, make sure to maximize your Bonus Reward Chance so you can snag that Resurrection Relic Reward!

NEW MONTHLY FIGHTERS

We’re adding six new Fighters in this update! As a reminder, each month a brand new Gold and Diamond Fighter will debut as monthly exclusives in Event Relics. They will not be more widely available until later updates. The Gold Fighter will also be available on the All Access Track (formerly called the Premium Track) of the Backstage Pass as a guaranteed, final reward!

Although only two new Fighters will be released each month, you may run into all six of the upcoming Fighters in random battles dotted throughout the game! If you manage to find them, take a screenshot and let us know on our socials!

PARALLEL REALMS

RECRUITMENT NODES


We’ve added a brand new type of node: Recruitment Nodes!

If you land on one of these nodes, you'll get to choose one out of three possible Fighters to add to your Collection for the duration of your Parallel Realms run. These Recruits will vanish once the Realms Reset, just like Artifacts.

The Recruits are all evolved to Diamond and come equipped with some Special Moves and Blockbusters. You can’t modify their loadouts in any way, so you’ll need to work with what you get! The level of the Recruits will scale to the difficulty of the Realm you have entered. Like any other Fighter, they can be defeated, so use them wisely!

  • The first Recruit listed can be ANY Fighter in the game! You never know which Fighter you’ll need for an upcoming fight, so choose carefully!

  • The second Recruit listed is guaranteed to be a Marie Fighter. Many players still haven’t had a chance to experiment with all the Marie Fighters, so this is a great chance to try them out!

  • The third Recruit listed will always be one of the Monthly Fighters available in past, present, and future Event Relics. This will allow you to try them out if you missed them in previous Events, or even try the brand new ones before they become available in Event Relics!
Any Recruits currently in your Collection will be tagged with a little Recruitment icon to make it clear that they are not a permanent part of your Collection.

OTHER PARALLEL REALMS UPDATES
  • When entering Parallel Realms, the map will now be zoomed out to give a better idea of what you’ll be facing on this run. Like all modes, you can pinch with two fingers on the screen to adjust the zoom.

  • The treasure chest icon on the bottom right of the Parallel Realms map screen has been updated to show how many Artifacts you currently have unlocked on your run. As before, tapping this will bring up a window displaying all the Artifacts you have currently collected.

BACKSTAGE PASS ADJUSTMENTS

We’ve made some adjustments to the Backstage Pass:
  • A new CLAIM ALL button has been added to the Goals tab so you can immediately grab all your Points instead of needing to hunt down any completed Goals.

  • The Premium Pass has been renamed the All Access Pass. Annie’s PR team said something about it being more “on brand”.

  • A magnifying glass button has been added to the banner at the top of the Backstage Pass. Tap it to see the full version of this month’s art!

QUALITY OF LIFE UPDATES

SKILL TREE - UNLOCK ALL


Tired of tapping through every single node when you’re trying to unlock the Skill Tree of a new Fighter? Today is your lucky day! A new button has been added to Skill Trees that will allow you to unlock the entire Skill Tree in one button push!

This will consume all the required Canopy Coins and Keys needed to unlock the entire remaining Skill Tree. You’ll be asked to confirm you want to do this before you proceed, and a popup will display how much it will cost.

If you have partially unlocked a Skill Tree already you can still use the Unlock All button to unlock the rest of the nodes. The cost to unlock will be reduced accordingly.



NO MOVES EQUIPPED POPUP

Have you ever entered a Prize Fight with a high streak only to realize with horror that you changed Loadouts recently on your strongest Fighters and forgot to swap them back? In 6.1 you don’t have to worry about this tragic scenario!

Now If you attempt to enter a Fight with no Moves equipped, you will get a warning message asking if you’re sure you want to continue. You can take this opportunity to back out of the fight and make sure you’re properly equipped.

  • Se solucionó un problema por el cual los luchadores con Inquebrantable no podían rebotar en la pared después de un deslizamiento por el suelo.
  • Se solucionó un problema por el cual varios luchadores (como Annie - Starlight Rose) no eliminaban la cantidad correcta de beneficios.
  • Se solucionó un problema por el cual Ms. Fortune - Time Thief no recuperaba HP correctamente.
  • Se solucionó un problema por el cual Annie - Star Shine mantendría su precisión permanente cuando muere y revive.
  • Se solucionó un problema por el cual la descripción de Annie: SA2 de Starlight Rose no era precisa.

MISC
  • Si se desplaza hacia arriba en el chat, el desplazamiento del chat se detendrá. En 6.1 agregamos un botón que lo llevará de regreso a los mensajes más recientes y reanudará el desplazamiento del chat.
  • ¡Se agregaron algunos efectos nuevos de celebración de confeti cuando obtienes recompensas particularmente jugosas!🎉
  • Ahora puedes ver la identificación pública de los jugadores mirando sus perfiles. También puede copiar la identificación directamente a su portapapeles tocando la identificación.

  • Se corrigieron algunos problemas de traducción en varios idiomas distintos del inglés.
  • Se solucionó un problema por el cual al cambiar el idioma de Voice Over a japonés se mostraba el nombre incorrecto de la actriz de voz de Marie.
  • Se solucionó un problema por el cual abrir el calendario del Pase diario en el menú principal cuando se jugaba en francés podía causar un bloqueo.
  • Se solucionó un problema por el cual arrastrar un luchador en la pantalla de selección de luchador y luego presionar simultáneamente el botón Inicio podía hacer que los luchadores fueran invisibles en tu colección.

Anyone else get December déjà vu? I got the Update 6.1 FREE GIFT again yesterday. Yelling Fortune head with scarf avatar and other goodies. The three Wishful Premiere Relics has restarted my addiction to buying those overpriced relics (150k for most likely a Bronze) from the Cabinet of Curiosities, until I can cash out the Resurrection Relic Shards.

In other news, I'm looking forward to this year's "A Quarter Gone, But Here's the Rest of 2024 Roadmap." With all the new characters promises met, I wonder what's next.
