Heyyyy it seems that everyone is not satisfied about Glacial Ghoul, huh? Me toošŸ˜…
Her 2 sigs don't really mesh well and some JP players are expressing their doubts about this abilities.

If you're going to make it work, you need to keep it simple, devs. There's no need to make it unnecessarily complicated. I'll show a reworking suggestion. I hope it will be helpful for them.

Update: I have changed both sigs a little.

ā€¢ Simplified the recovery conditions.
(Note: This recovery is triggered when the barrier's durability reaches 0, and is not triggered by removal effects like Chaos Vanish or buff transfer effects like Indomitable.)

ā€¢ Why did they include immunity in her sig2 with such terrible conditions even though she can easily gain it in long-term with taunt??? ... I don't really understand. Delete immunity and add thorns.

ā€¢ Reduced the gaining time and removal condition of buffs.

- Elsa in the early to mid-stage of Frozen 1 was truly "a presence that no one could approach" . The thorns are meant to recreate that.

- Also, we can expect her to be strong not only in offense but also in defense. It would be really good if she was paired with Tinted or Maid of Honor. If you donā€™t take any measures to prevent her gaining barrier, things will get reeeeealy seriousā€¦

Your proposed SA2 seems a bit too powerful. It will require deadeye as a counter, which isnā€™t accessible to many other than Dhalia. I suggest making the thorn 10s instead of timeless, or removed when knocked down.
 
This is way too overtuned. I can easily imagine she would be terrorizing rifts with the new AUTOIMMUNE + THE ANGRY FLINCH.

I believe she needs to revised, but this isn't the way.

Yeah I think I overdid it. ā€œKnockdownā€ seems to be good, Iā€™d like to implement it. Also Iā€™ve updated sig1 to prevent becoming OP. Please see the first post.
 
Initially I thought this was a bit too good as well, but after the tweaks I think it's not too bad.

I'll start with SA1 first.

Pros
:
- I like that Barrier is not consumed by your own actions. Mitigating damage is always better than recovery, so you may end up hindering yourself while at full HP.
- I like that the 2nd effect triggers when a Barrier expires.

Cons:
- The health recovery aspect may be too strong in this form.
* Speculation at this point. I'm thinking how paired with Maid of Honor and Rose Tinted she just keeps regenerating and gaining Barrier stacks non stop. Easy to deal with by just knocking in another opponent, but it may prove to be quite the newbie trap.

Suggestion:
- What if instead of health, she gained Immunity for 10 seconds after a barrier is lost? That would definitely help her out in Defense. It will encourage shorter combos vs her where Special Moves/BBs are used earlier as to apply their debuffs, before the immunity triggers.


As for SA2

Pros
:
- I like that you gain your buffs faster.
- I like the addition of Thorns, making her annoying on defense for certain characters/variants.
- I like that both buffs can be easily taken care of by simply knocking down the opponent.
- I like the removal of permanent immunity. It's either too slow or just annoying in its current state.

Cons:
- Damage spike can be reached too easily on offense
- I personally don't like the addition of Enrage on this variant, considering its decent enough base damage for a Water variant.
(This is a general issue with the variant and not your suggestion, but I'd still rather see something else)


As a whole, I'm surprised and a bit disappointed this variant doesn't have a stun of some sort, considering she's a reference to an Ice user.

Can't say I fully support this remake of her at this point, but I like the direction

While I do think the other diamonds are stronger, I dont think glacial requires a buff/ change.

Unlike star shine, her timer doesn't reset on kills, just the buffs get removed (this may sound very niche but its a BIG difference). This means she can gain back immunity the second she kills someone, ready for the next fighter. You mention that squig already has immunity in kit, and while that is true, permanent immunity has a few benefits:
- immune to Reimaged
- immune to Dark Might
- other buff converters/clearers
- frees up moveslot


I dont see why you want her to be a defensive variant. How I see it, she was made for offense with some reflect tanking in mind.
