  • That awkward moment when you lose a rift thanks to one failed attempt that you would win if had left the node alone.

Also awkward: Sitting around for nearly 2 hours to see if your opponent makes that last try at a node. Because if they do and win, you should try that one you've been putting off too.

The awkward moment when I found myself glad I can’t find any rift opponent cus what you guys are saying is tactical hell
I feel that the chances of finding a gold catalyst in CoC were reduced. Did someone feels the same?

So after my long, long dry patch, I had Great Escape, Megalixer and Scratching Post all show up in a row.

And now I'm out of Rift Coins again.

    But you bought them all?

Yep! For the first time in a while, I'm actually worried something good will come up again ;)
I have the evolution material for Bella. Should I diamond Harlequin or Brain Freeze first? Both are lv 50.
That awkward moment when the catalyst you wants the most shows up in the cabinet, but you don't have enough rift coins.

I save my rift coins purposely for that. I wait for the unique gold catalysts to show; those are the only ones I buy from the cabinet. It got me Scratching post and Darknut.

I recovered my rift coins, now I'll wait patiently for Frost Armor show up again.

I've tried saving my Rift Coins for it, but got unlucky the time Scratching Post showed up, because Frost Armor was there at the same time. It was a tough decision, and I'm still not sure I made the right one.
I don't play Eliza, but I have both Diva and Red Velvet lv 1. What should I invest first?

I agree with nasty, Diva is great! She doesn't quite have an infinite combo these days, but you can get really far just using one of her Sekhmet blockbusters, do a few attacks, knock the enemy down with the axe move in Sekhmet mode, then use an unblockable charge attack.

Then they're staggered, which is enough time to undo Sekhmet mode and use another Sekhmet blockbuster. Repeat until they tag out or are dead.

DI is great but does lack real damage. She has several good uses in Rift for those bleed nodes or immunity as she can drain HP and bb meter. You will need to giver her plenty of Atk stats otherwise you may time out.
Red Velvet is very niche but her ability to hex the opponent is one of a kind in the game and can be useful for certain rift setups.

Thanks guys, I'll put Diva in the evolution queue :D
Infamous question: Should I buy another armor rating cat or save coins for frost armor? (please don't hate me)

I realized only after already dumping too much cash, but silver or even bronze version of armor rating and frost armor are just as good. To your question, feels like you only need 1 copy of frost whereas armor you could use multiple copies as it’s more versatile.

Yes... I realized that too. I have a bronze version of frost armor, and since I put my hands on it, I have a invict Brain Freeze. Nobody defeated her in a whole week (I made 7/7 wins) and this creeps me out.
A Bio lv 50 is my only Squigly. I want another and have a lv1 PG, but I also want to diamond my Bio. What should I do first?
    fanghoul
    fanghoul
If both you and the enemy has a Surgeon General, you'll often have +100% to all your blockbuster's meter every 30 seconds, and that's not even the fastest PG can refill blockbusters, so you need to plan ahead a bit when to use them so you don't miss the chance to use Rage of the Dragon twice in a row or something.

The most important strategy with her often happens outside of battle though. You have to pick when to use her, because her real power comes from expiring buffs constantly refilling her meter more than the bonus blockbuster damage. I have totally gotten creamed using her when I forget this.

I think I'm moving this to Poltergust Discussion :D
I have a lv50 SG and 2 other duplicates of her. Should I use them to evolve the main to diamond or make another support SG?
    educavalcantee
    educavalcantee
Really? I'm glad that I asked then. Thought she would be my second evolved diamond, but now I don't think so. :D

I have two SGs. I'm fairly certain I used a third in an evolution, and I'm starting to regret that. She's pretty invaluable in rift battles.
    educavalcantee
    educavalcantee
Yes... investing in three SG's will make the triple nodes in the rifts much easier.
Any tips on the treasure nodes of big band master daily?
    educavalcantee

@Tom Kulczewski I meant the treasure node. :)
@Reshiram18 I thought the same solution. But I came here to some enlightment because D2 seems sooo boring :(

Super Sonic Jazz and A-Train are also useful for using a low number of hits. So are special moves like brass knuckles and cymbal clash.

If you can, it's best to save up your blockbusters and special moves to finish off one opponent quickly, rather than letting them tag in and out over and over.

Launching the enemy in the air and doing the air juggle is also good for doing a small number of hits and decent damage.
What is the best way to pull a DL Filia? Character or Shining relic?
    fanghoul
    fanghoul
Character relics are better. They're cheaper by a lot, and there's fewer possible Filia pulls than there are Light element pulls, so the chances of getting her from any one relic are better.

Alternatively you could just get lucky and pull her from a free gold fighter relic that you get every one to two weeks
